After reading many books written by Navy SEALs I would have to say that this one is among the worst. The redaction made it nearly unreadable making the overall story is a little boring. Much respect for Chief Couch for his service, but I can't say that this book was a good read. Maybe if there was less redaction it would have been better, but as it is it's a tough read.

I read the entire book in one night. Very well written and keeps the reader in tune and unable to put the book down. Dick is a positive writer that is very informative, as much as he can be.

About the author
Dick Couch is the author of The Warrior Elite: The Forging of SEAL Class 228 and The Finishing School: Earning the Navy SEAL Trident, as well as six novels. He commanded a SEAL platoon in Vietnam that conducted one of the few successful POW rescue operations of the war. He lives in central Idaho.
