Book 5 was another wonderful addition to the Chronicles of the Belador World. There are intriguing pairings taking shape, and you know some are going to leave a giant path of destruction in their wake. I look forward to seeing everything come together. I can't believe we are at book 5 already. It's bittersweet to move so far into the series. I am loving every moment and don't want it to end. However, I'm definitely putting this series on my re-read list. I think it will be just as enjoyable the second time around, with even more secrets to reveal. If you are a fan of urban fantasy, and you haven't tried this series, you are missing out.

This edition of the Chronicles is absolutely wow! As always of course. There are so many twists, turns and surprises that I can hardly wait for more. I simply couldn't put it down. I love Daegan, he's just so...swoon worthy? I love all of these characters. Tristan, Casidhe, all the Beladors (even though Evalle was always my fave). I look forward to revisiting the Belador world from before and the new one that's expanding before our eyes. The development of this story keeps me fully engaged and always wanting more. I simply can't wait to explore more of this world with Daegan and Casidhe, although I could do without some nasty gods and goddesses meddling in their affairs so much. Read this book, read ALL the books, you won't regret it!

I love Belador series, I've been reading it since it first came out and it's only gotten better with each book that comes out. I'm so excited for these characters and the story. It's a thrilling read that kept me at the edge of my seat. Mrs Love does an amazing job at keeping her readers involved rather than throwing too much at them and not giving enough. Daegan is starting to show his emotions to Casidhe, but he still has to find the grimoire's defeat the Imortiks, fight Queen Maeve, and Cathbad, oh lets not forget the angry humans and Viper that are in the mix too.. It's a struggle for anyone but our dragon has the help of his Belador and Casidhe they just might be able to win this one, hopefully. We get a lovely cliffhanger (who am I kidding? when are cliff hangers lovely?) It keeps you in suspense of wanting the next book to see what happens. I'm so happy that Casidhe has grown more in this book and learning truths. (Spoilers love~) We really get to see a change from the previous book to this one and her growth which in all honesty makes me so happy and it wasn't a let down. (Not that Dianna has ever let me down). We're slowly starting to see everyone's hand who the players are and where they stand in things. Though there are things we don't know. It's a great way to just sit down and enjoy a cup of cocoa and a good read. There's so much I want to know and only four more books!! I'm so excited to see what all is left.
