Diana Dawn’s 2nd instalment of the Whispering Willows series, “Forget Me Not” is just as appealing and as phenomenal as the 1st instalment! I feel extremely happy, lucky, grateful, and blessed to have come across such a good romance story because it’s been a while since I really liked a story this good! So, obviously, imagine my delight when I came across this book! I read the whole 114 pages all in one sitting; honestly, I just kept reading from beginning to end and I couldn’t even put the book down! What I love even more is the fact that this is a series of books, so the love just never ends! If anything, the 2nd book further intensifies all of the “feels” and the “butterflies in your tummy” effect because the author brilliantly introduces a love triangle and successfully executes it to perfection! Due to some unexpected circumstances that I prefer not to disclose so as to avoid giving away huge spoilers, all I’m prepared to let you in on is that Snow White and Mitch get to know themselves even better as individuals and as a couple because the characters really had to reflect a whole lot deeper in more meaningful and purposeful ways in order to stay stronger together because fate threw a lot of challenges towards them along the way. The burning question is: can their love withstand all of the troubles that lie in their path? It’s like the famous adage, “United, we stand. Divided, we fall.” You may already know the answer to my question but you still don’t know the intricate details regarding the how’s and the why’s and honestly, it’s all about the how’s and the why’s that makes this 2nd instalment all the more interesting which is why I couldn’t put the book down in the first place! Individually, Snow White and Mitch must both surpass their own inner struggles and wait patiently for everything to slowly unravel and unfold before them and they become the living proofs of the infamous vows, “Love is patient …” Both of them needed to grow internally so that love can win and prevail eventually. Thankfully, the author has a really good insight and foresight as to what the readers want because she actually makes the characters so lovable that it was really hard to find anyone annoying! Even the third wheeler in the love triangle wasn’t annoying at all and I absolutely loved that! I felt that it was talent and skill on the author’s part to create characters that had more depth in them because she perfectly curated them and carefully created them to showcase their values, principles, and beliefs! Nowadays, our society definitely needs to learn more of that and I believe that storytelling is one of the many ways we teach anyone about virtues, values, principles, and beliefs! So, please go ahead and indulge yourself by purchasing this book! We’d all be doing humanity a favour! In addition, what I really love about this story is that both characters show us how love always wins and how love can prevail when both characters are always ready to fight for each other and fight for their unconditional love no matter what happens, especially when this 2nd instalment says a lot about Snow as a person and as the men who find her enticing and appealing grows in number. Oh and of course, let’s not forget about the action scenes! In this 2nd instalment, the action scenes are extremely exhilarating and there are actually quite a few of them! You’ll truly feel the adrenaline rush as you move along the pages. The way the author describes the action scenes make this book completely binge-worthy, so get your snacks ready and start reading!
