(kinda spoilers) So I dislike it mostly because it's unreasonably fast pased so fast infact that they only meet once and that time was also the time they "fell in love". They had probably talked together in the entire 50p around 30 min, maybe. And also the heroin in my opinion was not likeable, but I did infact like the hero in the beginning before they both met after that point everything got worse. And worse. But i may just be overreacting, take it as you will. I do think i would like this story if it was longer then 50p atleast 100 would've made thing a little more in depth then what we got. I understand if the author just wanted to write this as a fun little short story for herself or just because.

Seriously. Bite sized is a good word for it. This is a great little holiday story (we're going with Thanksgiving with Aliens) to make you smile. This is introducing a new world, and what I'm guessing will be a series of shorts to happen within. There is a decent amount off world building, enough to make you curious and want to read more, but not too much since this is such a tiny book. Rana and Byron are both struggling colonists and that feeling comes across very clearly. I absolutely loved how blunt Rana (she's our alien) is and also that Byron (our cowboy) was determined to woo her despite knowing nothing about her species. The romance is quick, but it's sweet. The calf is a really cute addition. If you like your romance with a bit of steam, a lot of alien, a revisited holiday, some determined cowboy, a spunky calf, and a silver alien who doesn't have tentacles but isn't afraid to offer them, this is a great read for you.

I received a free book and the views and opinions are my own. This is a fun story about living on a new planet and trying to make up a grand holiday to celebrate surviving a full year. Rana has to find meat to serve at her thanksgiving feast, Bryan needs to save the one and only cattle he has left. This is when the fun starts with a misunderstanding. An easy read that makes you laugh, just what is needed right now. I would recommend this book.
