A great beginning to a sweet book in The Tremaynes of Texas series. Debra Holt gives yo a sweet story in Capturing the Texas Rancher's Heart. The story might start with a visit to the hospital but just could end in a possible romance. My favorite characters in the story has to be one of the main character's young son Andy and his dog Jasper. This author always gives you a great story. I look forward to seeing what the next book in the series brings to you.

Oh how I loved this story! If you enjoy feeling right along with the feelings of the characters, you have got to read this one. You’ll experience all the ups and downs, feel the loves and tears while you read. Every character only added to the deep emotional journey that you go on right along with them. My heart was so taken with this story that I absolutely hated getting to the end. It is one of those stories that will have you wanting to read the book over and over again. I received an advanced review copy for free from the publisher and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Capturing the Texas Rancher’s Heart by Debra Holt, book one in The Tremaynes of Texas series, was an enjoyable, heartwarming tale of two hurt, protective people. Nurse Jamie Westmoreland survived a difficult and turbulent childhood. She now flourishes with the comfort of stability, normalcy, and the quiet life provided by her small Texas ranching town; at least until a new patient challenges her and turns her world upside down. Thomas Tremayne, the eldest son of a well-respected ranching family, is mom and dad to his young son, Andy. A ranch injury has Thomas in need of an in-house specialist after being discharged from the hospital. Jamie is not happy with her assignment, as Thomas challenges her at every turn. Being as stubborn as Thomas, Jamie doesn’t want to admit that she enjoys their arguing along with her racing heart when she is near him. Being around Andy, Thomas’ little cowboy, and having him follow her around, opens Jamie’s heart to feelings long neglected. Thomas spends a lot of time and energy trying hard to resist his attraction to Jamie, but his son, Andy, has fallen under Jamie’s spell and wants her for his mom. Despite the magnetic attraction and chemistry Jamie and Thomas share, it’s going to take some magic and a community of love before these two will let down their defenses to let love into their hearts. Ms. Holt wrote a sweet, heartwarming tale of small town ranch life filled with strong magnetism, sizzling chemistry, wonderful dialogue, and charming characters giving Jamie and Thomas a chance to open their hearts to love. I loved the involvement of Andy in this story. I highly recommend Capturing the Texas Rancher’s Heart to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
