About this eBook

Behaviour Interactive’s global phenomenon horror game comes to comics! Written by Harvey Award-winner Nadia Shammas (Ms. Marvel) and illustrated by Dillon Snook (The Bluefall).

In the Realm of The Entity, it’s hunt or be hunted. But before they are taken from their worlds, each Killer and Survivor has a story of their own.

It’s 1994, and in the sleepy, forgotten town of Ormond, three teenagers are growing restless. The air is thick with fog and wasted potential, but what appears to be the latest cruel twist in the life of Frank Morrison might just end up being the chance he needs to take destiny into his own hands.

I want to start by saying that personally I'm delighted at the fact that the team thought there was need to even publish comic books based on the Dead By Daylight video game. I didn't expect this, so it definitely took me by surprise, when I learned about this comic. It's especially convenient for me given that I'm really bad at the game myself (Lol 😅). Anyway I was pretty much satisfied with what was given in terms of the story, but my only disappointment was directed towards the art of the comic. Based on the cover I had anticipated more detailed sketches throughout the rest of the book, however it was quite the opposite. All of the sketches & colors seem very basic & doesn't feel as though they belong in this type of book, in my opinion. Other than that the book was ok for me overall, & I would like to see more comics based on the killers & survivors of the game.

It was fine. This issue was mostly just setup, and if you're a fan I figure you might enjoy this. The only thing that really bothers me about this is that I paid five bucks for what was essentially a mediocre digital comic. Definitely this is not worth that much. Maybe two, but even that feels like it's pushing it.
