About the author

David P. Murphy is a living, breathing guy, and a songwriter who, inexplicably, spends an excessive amount of quality time thinking and writing about zombies. Murphy and zombies go way back. He saw Invisible Invaders as a child and it scared the bejeepers out of him. However, he quickly moved past the nightmares of his youth and began dreaming of visits to Caribbean jungles to experience his zombie friends firsthand. The realization of that dream, sadly, led to yet more nightmares and deeper issues. Gratefully, his fascination eventually evolved into a profession once he obtained his Ph.Z. from the prestigious Port-au-Prince Capon Academy.

Murphy currently can be seen shambling about the Omaha, Nebraska area where he closely guards his brains and those of his cat, Beany. He has no affiliation with QualiCorpsTM although hes been known to enjoy a product of theirs every now and then. And one day, God willing, he hopes to retire to one those lovely Scarlet Shores facilities. Daniel Heard is a living, breathing illustrator and graphic novelist. A graduate of the S.F. Academy of Arts, his artwork is featured on the cover and interior of Daniel H. Wilson and Anna Long's book, The Mad Scientist Hall of Fame and the Tori Amos graphic novel, Comic Book Tattoo.
