John and Shelia co-author the successful 'A Vested Interest' Series. 50,000 copies downloaded!
John and Shelia met on Internet and crossed the Atlantic several times to be together. After living in London for six years they finally returned in 2008 to John's home area in the North to pursue a career in writing. Shelia came up with the original concept featuring a doctor who develops a cure for death. John did much of the research needed for 'A Vested Interest', wrote the technical bits and after thinking about it for almost a year wrote the ending... or at least that was the plan.
At over 700 pages the first edition of A Vested Interest was just too big. No agent or publisher would touch it. It was cut it extensively and then split it into two books. The second book was now too small so more was added. Eventually the second book had to be split also. So it continued, 14 books later the series continues and the ending still hasn't been used.
