Lucid Reading: A Short Psychological Horror Experience

Maybe the room is a little different, or the lighting is not quite right, but he's feeling uneasy. He looks around a few too many times and can't quite focus on the story he's supposed to be reading.

The night wears on and just the smallest things are unsettling. A few paragraphs in his book seem to be out of place and the story itself doesn't seem to go anywhere. The lights keep changing. He's not sure he's locked the door.
