Chaos doesn't get better than this! I like to think I thrive in what the world has come to know as "organized chaos". My mouse pad even reads, "Chaos Coordinator", but Stephanie takes it to a whole other level! I've been infatuated with Wit from his very first "Yeehaw" and have been waiting eagerly for his story and it did NOT disappoint! I love the English language, thrive on my quiet nights when the house is dark & I can sink into my stories, but Stephanie doesn't just throw these stories together, she lives them. I call myself Stephanie's BFF, but in reality I'm just another avid reader who loves the little connection I've created with this brilliant writer, and I fancy we would truly be great friends in real life (I actually do consider her a friend and feel in my heart that it's mutual) so when I say Stephanie lives her stories, I mean it. She breathes her very own life into every character's personality. She dives deep into their very childhood, feels the bruises, experiences the fear of not knowing what to expect around ever turn, grasps onto hope for something better and as an adult is suspicious of everyone and everything that she encounters. But hot damn, she also knows those she can rely on and she extends the "family" title well beyond that of her own, just like Wit. Stephanie has spent years creating these spectacular characters and has woven their stories within the threads of her characters that came before. They all have their own, unique, beautiful voice, and she somehow manages to keep them all straight, without bluring their lines, yet allowing you to become attached to each one independently. That happened with me for Wit. He has stolen my heart. As an adoptive mom, Wit's childhood hits too close to home. I feel so drawn to Wit and his story, that I'm about to start the book over again. What a tale to be told!

When you think Ms St. Klaire can’t write a better book than the last one boy does she do it. The story of Wit Meyers will definitely have you laughing out loud one moment, grabbing tissues the next and then on the edge of the your seat. The sadness and trauma that Wit lived will make you wonder if you are watch a news report on tv. Ayelish and Wit’s love story makes you not want to put the book down. The banter, the jokes make you feel like you are there in actual person.

I've been (not so) patiently waiting for Wit to have his book and this was well worth the wait! Fast paced and action packed from the very first line. This one had me on the edge of my seat and sweating in the best way possible. The plot twists were amazing, Stephanie is evil, Stephanie is the greatest! I'm sad that we're almost done with this series, but I know Stephanie will give it the huge send off it deserves. Grab a blanket and a big bowl of soup and dive into this heart pounding read!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
