About this ebook

New York Times bestselling author Damien Echols and his wife Lorri Davis reveal their intimate and affecting letters, written while Echols was wrongfully imprisoned on death row.

An explosive bestseller, Life After Death turned a national spotlight on Damien Echols, who was just eighteen when he was wrongly condemned to death. But one of the most remarkable parts of his story still remained untold. After seeing a documentary about the “West Memphis Three,” Lorri Davis—a New Yorkbased landscape architect—wrote him a letter, beginning a thirteen-year correspondence that witnessed their marriage while Echols was still on death row and culminated in Echols’ release in 2011. Sharing their private letters, Yours for Eternity is a must-read for the legions who followed the case as well as anyone who appreciates an extraordinary love story.

Couldn't wait to get my hands on this book and what I did I did not want to put it down and I still will pick it up and open it to a random page and begin reading. It does jump around alot Time Wise or seems as if it does but, Damien and Lori take the time to walk the readers through that. they are very open and candid but yet still keep extensive secrecy between them as they guide the reader through they're unlikely, but always meant to be, journey together. If you've ever met someone for the first time but feel like you can't remember life without them in it, then know that you're not alone. Damian Lori articulate this so beautifully and the little insides were allowed into their private lives through their letters are just delicious and fun! Like any relationship they have there rough times, except the rough times are * a million with him being on death row and her doing everything she can to get him out of there. The way they maneuvered through the obstacles, the Lulls in romance, The never ending repetition of the Department of corrections and death row is something that I personally had never been able to witness before and feel honored to be able to live it with them through this book. You also get to feel the jittery nervous excitement that comes when you become infatuated and then fall in love with someone. But you also feel the heartbreak that you would feel when you're away from them. The book is an emotional roller coaster that will have you going up and down twisting and turning you're adrenalin pumping and subsequently the adrenaline crash at the end but it will be a ride that is well worth taking. and when you step off this roller coaster you'll be happy you decided to ride it and you'll go to the end of the line and patiently wait your turn to ride it again. Have fun and enjoy the ride Little Monkeys...

I didn't read the whole book, just a book of letters written between the two while he was on death row,I can't believe that these two people DON'T believe in God, I think if they had acknowledged God and Jesus as their Lord and Savior he(Damien)would have been off death row and out of prison long before it finally happened. I find it very strange that Lorri, who claims not to be a believer, sure prays a lot . I do believe those prayers are what worked . I hope they are living with the knowledge that The Holy Trinity is REAL . I always knew that he wasn't guilty, I am Thankful to God for giving them a chance.

Good book, loved reading the evolution of their love. End got a bit slow and jumpy because they started using the phone more than writing. Still a very rare look into their hearts and minds. Most couldn't have handled such!
