A fast paced, exciting military romance, Saul's Sweetheart is anything but sweet, but Saul likes everything that he sees in Rebel. When Saul and his team go in search of their comrade's missing brother, they find more than they bargained for. What at first seemed an open and shut case, begins to unravel the moment they set foot on the scene where they find Rebel creeping around the perimeter. After their first confrontation, they realise that they are both investigating the same matter, although looking for different people and from different angles. As the case becomes more convoluted and unexpected bodies start piling up, Rebel and the team realise that no one is safe. Through it all, Rebel's determination to find her best friend Tammy makes Saul and the other Heroes realise that she has more in common with them than at first glance. Although the romance built between Rebel and Saul, it took a back seat to the investigation until such time as Rebel herself becomes a victim. After that there are no holds barred and Saul will do whatever it takes to protect the feisty woman he has fallen for. This is another thrilling story by Dale Mayer, and very entertaining reading. I voluntarily am reviewing an Advanced Reader Copy of this book that I received through Shifted Sheets Book Promotions.

Does Saul have any non-fictional brothers available? Rebel is just what she sounds like, a kick butt, take names kind of girl searching for her best friend Tammy who is missing—for ten days. She’s getting nowhere with her stakeout when suddenly four hulking hot men interrupt her surveillance and saying they’re with Legendary Security looking Daniel, Tammy’s co-worker, ex-boyfriend and the last person Tammy was seen with. Does Rebel dare to trust the ex-SEALS to help her find Tammy when they are looking for Daniel? She knows she can’t do it alone any longer but she also knows that they will do whatever they can to keep her from being involved. So, after a misleading statement to convince them she agrees with them, Rebel does what Rebel wants to do because like a SEAL she leaves no one behind! After wading knee deep into danger, Saul, one of the badass four hulking men is elected Rebel’s babysitter and before they know it they are in deep—not only in the investigation but in each other. Saul has comforting arms, lets a girl have a good cry and then asks, “What can I do to help you right now?” He had me at, “What can I do to help you right now?” Made me wish he had some non-fictional brothers… Read it and the wholes series, you won’t be disappointed.

Loved it. Teared up at the happy ending. But now In sad I have to wait until September to get the next book. I like to keep reading through. You forget things sometimes forget to go back. You said the books were available on google play. Disappointing. But I'll be back.
