A fantastic story that will have you wondering how on earth any of this is possible, but the author makes you believe it can all happen. Phoenix is on a mission to a small town in Iceland. She needs to be at the Eternal fire, to be able to fulfill a task. A task that will set her free from her past. Rowan is part of the local law enforcement, and he's covering for the Chief that is in a coma in the hospital. Something about Phoenix has made Rowan suspicious, and he is bent on finding out just what the story is with her. So many twists and turns in this book, and you'll wonder whether Phoenix is as trustworthy as she seems. Fantastic book..absolutely fantastic! I found From The Ashes fantastic . I enjoyed every word of this story . My heart broke for Phoenix the terror and trauma she went threw in her childhood was terrible . She is a very strong an amazing woman . Detective Rowan is a kind and caring man and a perfect match for Phoenix . This is such a well written and interesting story . I have loved every one of these psychic visions novels . From The Ashes is a must read . It's action packed , intriguing , intense , and suspenseful . Absolutely Outstanding. I cannot recommend this story more . I found From The Ashes fantastic . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I always love a good PNR book and this series from Dale always gets my curiosity and interest going. We have a young girl called Phoenix who is being brought up in a cult lead by her father. Being physically and mentally abused by dad and the rest of the cult seems to be the norm for poor Phoenix. Being “the chosen one” as described by her father, who happens the be the father of every child there has to be so much pressure for a young child. Once raided, Phoenix was the only member to be rescued after the mass suicide in which she was supposed to die and be reborn. We fast forward 20 years where Phoenix has a PHD, was loved and well cared for by her foster parents. A trip to Iceland sees her in an eternal fire site and a place where suicides seem to be happening at a certain time. Team her with a detective and well it gives you an excellent suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat. Loved the story with so many characters with different traits. Gorgeous cover that sits so well on my book shelf.
