Cross My Heart

This was a good book. It drew me right in. The characters were great and engaging. Lily and Ty are going to get their shot at second chance. That is if fate doesn't take it away. There is heat, heart, and humor, but also a little suspense that keeps the reader guessing. I loved Lily's dog. I always enjoy when there are animals in books. A few twists that are surprising in this book. I really liked the set up for hunter's book because it has left me wanting more.

This is book 1 in the Ty and Hunter series and it features Ty and Lilly. These two, along with Hunter, have a sort of tragic past. Now, 10 years later, Lilly is back from the dead to claim what’s rightfully hers. The drama is fantastic! The romance is sizzling, beautiful and meant to be. The sense of friendship/family between these three friends is real and unbreakable. The story line is fantastic and most of the characters are too. I’m not a big fan of Molly. She just doesn’t appreciate a good man when she has one. Her loss! I’m definitely looking forward to more from this amazing author.

It was so easy to get swept up into Lily and Ty's romance. The book provides all the heartache and angst caused by the cruel and abrupt end to a promising love and combines it with all the hope and sweetness of a second chance to let that love bloom to maturity. Added to all this, the well written and engaging storyline offers drama, powerful emotions, danger, intrigue and suspense. A very good read that I thought was quite entertaining.
