About this ebook

Crinkle cookies are round cookies with cracks that are sprinkled or rolled in powder sugar so that the interior color of the cookie shows through and contrasts against the exterior color. Sometimes these cookies are called “crackle cookies.”

Crinkle cookies are cake-like cookies that are chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Quite often, powdered sugar is used to enhance their cracked appearance.

The original cookies were chocolate flavored invented by Helen Fredell in St. Paul, Minnesota in the early part of the 20th Century.

Today, variations of the traditional crinkle cookie include lemon, fudge, vanilla and mint.

This cookbook contains a delicious variety of crinkle cookie recipes.
