About this eBook

She has a lot to prove and won’t get distracted by a cowboy again...

Barrel racer Ella James Sanders has one goal for her breakout year in Pro Rodeo—to make it to the National Finals Rodeo and prove to her hometown that she’s more than a girl raised on the wrong side of town. But her dream quickly crashes when an accident injures her and her horse, ending her rodeo season and leaving her in the care of the man who carelessly broke her heart years ago.

Cowboy and veterinarian Ty Hartman knows what it’s like to be rejected by those close to him. Ty’s loved Ella since high school, but she’s rejected him twice so he’s resolved to keep his distance and protect his heart…until an accident forces Ella and her horse into his life and he can’t step aside. As he cares for the feisty cowgirl, he feels himself falling for her again.

Can he convince this cowgirl that not only is he a man she can trust, but that he’s also a man she could love?

Ty is use to getting his heart broken, first by his mother and then by Ella. He is still in love with Ella but doesn't want his heart broken again. Ella grew up on the wrong side of town and has always fought for what she wants. Her one big desire is to win the championship in barrel racing to but herself a small ranch. Ella and her horse are injured in competition and Ty comes to her rescue. Ty is a veterinarian, so Ella has a hard time saying no. Soon they can't deny the chemistry that they share. I thoroughly enjoyed this story of letting the past go and believe in your heart. Ella and Ty were both likeable characters. This is the third book in the series but can be read as a stand alone.

Cowgirl in Love by Jamie Dallas, book three in The Hartman Brothers series. I really enjoyed this book about Ty Hartman and Ella James Sanders. It kept me going back for more after putting it down. I hadn't read previous books in this series but I would still recommend this one.

In this latest and last story in the series, we are back in Garnet Valley with the Hartman brothers. Brothers that have been brought together by the will of their father. A hard man that was not kind to two of his sons and abandoned another. The future of the ranch is still unsure, and Ty Hartman, the one that stayed at the ranch and now a well respected veterinarian, is trying his best to keep it intact. Meanwhile, Ella James, the girl he crushed on in HS and the one he still is attracted to, is trying to get to the National Finals Rodeo. No matter how many years later he tries to get her to at least talk to him, she rejects him. Mainly because she believes Ty’s father treated hers badly. But when both she and her horse get injured, it’s Ty who comes to her rescue. As a friendship develops, so do feelings. But will they be able to learn to trust each other and let go of the past? What happens when the relationship is tested? Meanwhile, will the brothers stay at the ranch after the year imposed by their father’s will, or will the ranch be divided and/or sold and Ty’s dreams go up in smoke? This was an engaging story with interesting characters. As a fan of the series, I was delighted to “see” how the characters of the previous stories were doing. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Tule Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
