The telemarketing of vacation packages is a distasteful and unethical job, but the pay can be good some weeks. The telemarketer faces two forms of intense pressure; company pressure to separate the customer from his or her credit card number and caller pressure to keep the number secret. John Andes was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania, and received a degree in philosophy from Brown University. His business career started in New York and was focused on advertising and marketing. He has two adult sons, is retired, and lives on the Gulf Coast where he coaches little league football.
