I read kendra and Tyrell in high school. The first time was 10th grade and I just had to read it every year after that. Now at 20 I had to buy the book so I can read it again. I love coe boothe's Tyrell books just as much but kendra just made me want it more.

I've read this book in high school so many time. This one is one of my favorites of her's. Love it!

Coe Booth is a graduate of The New School's Writing for Children MFA program, and a winner of the LA Times Book Prize for Young Adult Fiction. She is the author of Tyrell and Kendra, and was born and still lives in the Bronx.
