About the author

Born in 1952, David Bennett grew up as an only child in the South East of England. As a small boy he spent the long hot summers helping his mother pick fruit in the garden of England ( Kent). David left school at fifteen with no qualifications, and went on to train as a carpenter and joiner. He completed the five-year apprenticeship and went on to work as a carpenter for the next forty years. David took up writing in 2008 after an injury stopped him from working, and he enjoyed it ever since. Writing has become a passion for David and he hope it brings pleasure to all his readers.
