Excessive

The book has lots of subtle sexist vibes that make me cringe as I read it. the book isn't for me but if you are a Claire Adams fan I'm sure you will like this book. I just don't enjoy gun talk and hunting. Also the whole plot with the creeper could be avoided with security cameras (like how do you own a convinceince store and gun shop and don't think to have a security system, after the first break in at the house cameras should have been installed catch the creeper, this whole plot is not my cup of tea). I like the story between the main female lead, male lead and his son, but everything else seems so unnessasry, like the supporting characters aren't well delevoped they change personalities randomly that dont make sense. In the end I didn't finish reading the book, I just got so bored and annoyed. It's a good book if you want a steamy read with a cute kid and dont mind the gun plot and random personality shifts.

Beside the errors, needing to be edited, the story was a little long winded. It had a strange feel to it, like someone else wrote the book. It was a sweet story just needs the author to go over and maybe revise it. Vince was a sweetheart ❤

I couldn't even finish it. The dialogue felt so clunky. It was not fun to read.
