I really enjoyed this book by Joanne Rock! It is another book in The McNeill Magnates series. I'm looking forward to reading more books in this series. When Caroline McNeill disappears the last place Damon expects to find her is at their mansions's front gate not knowing what happened or who was responsible of her disappearance. With so many conflicting stories from her father Caroline and Damon neither one know who to trust, but the one thing they aren't conflicted about is their attraction and love for each other. I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

This story is part of a series, but if like me , you haven’t read the other books in the series, rest assure you will be fine. The story centers around Caroline and Damon McNeill. She disappeared months ago and when she shows up at his doorstep, he doesn’t know what to believe. Caroline was taken from her home, held in captivity, drugged and made to believe , Damon didn’t love her . She was pregnant and has had a child. A boy she has kept from Damon. But her father told Damon and the police she left on her on volition. What is the truth? Will these two be able to rebuild their lives and their trust? Was the father lying and if so , why? An entertaining fast paced story. I was gifted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I was quite happy to read another story in the McNeill saga, and couldn't wait to read Damon's story. Readers of the previous books would remember the brothers' concern over Damon's obsession with finding his missing wife. Finally, Caroline is back, but is she back for him? Or is this another ploy to break Damon down all over again? This installment wraps love, desire, suspense, intrigue & family all up in a well-written, heartfelt romance that you definitely will enjoy. I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
