This vintage book comprises H. G. Wells’ 1925 novel, "Christina Alberta’s Father". The story is set in London and begins as an ostensibly light-hearted novel that concentrates on the flaws of the class system. However, Wells soon begins analysing asylums and mental health legislation, before finishing the novel with an in-depth discussion of feminism and the conflict of individualism and society. This text constitutes a fascinating, entertaining, and thought-provoking read that will be of special interest to fans and collectors of Wells’s seminal work. Herbert George Wells (1866 - 1946) was a seminal English writer whose notable works include "The War of the Worlds" (1897) and "The Time Machine" (1895).
