About the author

He has been the Senior Editor at Woodworker’s Journal Magazine for more than a decade and is also well-known in the woodworking industry as a key content creator for Woodworker's Journal videos on their YouTube channel. A renowned woodworker, instructor, product reviewer and writer, he currently lives with his family in Virginia where his woodworking shop window overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains.

John English is a contributing editor of Woodcraft Magazine and a former editor of Today's Woodworker. His work has appeared in numerous woodworking magazines, including American How-To, Fine Woodworking, and Woodshop News, and his syndicated how-to and home repair columns have appeared in newspapers across the United States.
