This story left off where book 1 ended. I was anxiously awaiting to hear from Joaquin. He was such a strong character. Joaquin was going crazy with worry wanting Sofia back. He also wanted the person responsible for her disappearance to be held accountable. When she did come back to him, it did not last long. They loved one another, but she couldn't deal with his job. One minute Sofia accepted what he did for a living, and then the next, she didn't want to have anything to do with him. Joaquin was determined to get her back although, he said she was always his. By the end, Sofia was a different person and fit right in with the group of ladies. There was never a dull moment in this story. It held my attention throughout. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
