Its interesting to see the progress of the club over time, Vinnie's story is just as good as the other books in the series.(still like to see them get married!)

I loved this story!! It's the fifth in a series but you can pick up any of these and not feel lost. That's how I got hooked on this series! This book is Vinnie and Shayla's story. Vinnie enjoys his life with the MC. He's happy being single and living at the compound. Having an old lady of his own has never been on his radar. Then Talon calls in his marker which puts him in Shayla's life as protector. Because of the actions of her father Shayla's life is in danger. Vinnie finds himself drawn to this woman and even though she's Talon's cousin he knows he wants to make her his and will do whatever is needed to keep her safe. So he takes her the Wind Dragons compound and asks the Club to help him protect her. I definitely recommend this one!

Finally we have Vinnie's book. I have loved Vinnie from the very beginning and was so excited he was getting his own book. All the women in the previous books have adored him, looking at him as a younger brother so I just knew his book would be awesome. Vinnie had a rough childhood, growing up in the foster care system and never being adopted, he felt like no one ever wanted him and that he would never have a family. When his uncle, the Wind Dragons old President, finds out about Vinnie he brings him to club where Vinnie finally finds the family he has always wanted. Shayla is in hiding after her father tries to cheat some very crooked mafia guys. With her father now in prison it is up to her cousin Talon, president of the Wild Men MC, to protect her. When Talon calls in a marker owed to him by Vinnie with the Wind Dragons Shayla assumes she is going to get just another guard who will ignore her and just piss her off. She wasn't expecting a dangerous and sexy biker to protect her. Vinnie is sure Shayla is just another spoiled, bratty rich girl and he can't wait to get this assignment over with. Vinnie and Shayla's relationship is tense at first, with both of them making assumptions about the other without giving each other a chance. The more time the spend with each other they find themselves growing to like each other as both friends and in a more sexual way. When Shayla's location is leaked Vinnie knows he can't just leave her with another bodyguard who will do a half ass job protecting her so he does the only thing he can think of, he takes her home to his clubhouse where he claims her as his old lady. Vinnie and Shayla had such a great connection and relationship throughout this book. It was so nice to read about two people just clicking so well together. Like all good romance books the couple do face their own set of obstacles and drama but the love the find in each other helps pull them through it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good MC romance. I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.
