Very capitivating sequel to Immortal Beloved, yet an interesting one. Picks up straight where it ends in the first novel, as Nastasya discovers more truth about herself and her past. She finds herself stuck between going back to River's edge or back to her whole life, her affection of Reyn growing much stronger and desired to be in his strong arms, leaves the reader to question and decipher what Nastasya next move will be. I love they way she grows more confident, mature and willingly to do more stuff despite the odd stacked against her. Incy's charcter is more revealed in this novel than the first, as he keeps haunting her in her dreams, we are left to find whether he really knows the truth behind Nastasya ancient power and where she comes from or what he's real plans are all along. Fantastic novel, 5 stars!
Anxious for the last novel.....

Was thrilled by the sequel. However, wasn't too crazy about the multiple flashbacks. I understand relating back to past events is critical for the viewer to understand and grow with character, but some of it was just unnecessary. I know I may be blaspheming here, but the constant wailing just put her into the 'Bella' stereotype. Blugh!! All in all I thought it was a well developed sequel. Can't wait to read the third one!
