Interesting historical paranormal romance with a twist! Cara is accidentally cursed to die. She must summon a warrior to strengthen her and help find the ancient book with the spell to heal her. The adventure begins! Enjoyable book. Strong male and female characters. 3 1/2 stars. Received this book free for an honest review.

I REALLY enjoy reading all of her books. They are riveting, interesting and leave me wanting more... moving onto banished now; if you enjoy the paranormal and adventure with a dash of romance, C.J. Archer is for you.

I enjoyed reading this book as I am already familiar with the characters (Cara, Emma, Jacob). I think this book has much better plot than the Wrong Girl triology.
