Kathleen York is a living-history specialist who has been researching, writing, illustrating, publishing, and marketing books about historical clothing since 1980 (www.civilwarladies.com). An instructional design consultant, she has worked with such organizations as Kaplan Higher Education, Sears, the University of Illinois, and Walgreens.
