Not worth the money for such a skinny book. Sure, what it does have is fine but then it ends - QUICK. Book should be half the price - at least. Its a rip off frankly at its going rate. Many other better books out there at the same price or less. Pass on this one folks.

Well written and easy to follow for detectorists of all speeds & caliber. He reminds us of one important caveat: HOBBIES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUN! Thanks Doc.

Brandon does an excellent job of describing in detail many of the unknown aspects of getting into metal detecting. After dabbling into the hobby the last 4 years I have gotten more serious and have enjoyed educating myself by reading from the pros. Thanks again!
