So many parts of this story to love- Harker slowly realising he's a prisoner in Dracula's castle and Dracula slowly feeding his way through the crew of the Demeter being just two. Some of it is slow reading, but overall a great story that no movie has ever done justice

My favourite of all horror books to this day. I still believe that in the way the story is written,you could mistake it to be true,due to majority of the book being written in Letters from Jonathan Harker to his dear Mina. Excellent piece of Gothic English literature.

wow fantastic better read as getting dusk .Have book as fav have now at last to read on my .thankyou so very much .

About the author

Bram Stoker (1847–1912) grew up in Ireland listening to his mother's tales of blood-drinking fairies and vampires rising from their graves. He later managed the Lyceum Theatre in London and worked as a civil servant, newspaper editor, reporter, and theater critic. Dracula, his best-known work, was published in 1897 and is hailed as one of the founding pieces of Gothic literature.
