Catarina Pombo Nabais is researcher at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, and integrated member of the Center for Philosophy of Science, where she created and coordinates the research line “Science-Art-Philosophy Lab”. Her first book Gilles Deleuze: Philosophie et Littérature (Paris: L’Harmattan, 2013), prefaced by Jacques Rancière, was published in the USA (Deleuze’s Literary Theory. The Laboratory of His Philosophy, NY: Rowman & Littlefield, 2020). More recently she edited the volume Creative Processes in Sciences and Arts. The question of public participation (Lisbon: Afrontamento, 2021). She also works as Curator, having organized several exhibitions in some of the most renowned museums of Lisbon. She is the director of the Art Gallery Oficina Impossível, in Lisbon and was recently invited to be the Curator of the International Science Festival FICA for the “Science, Art and Philosophy” area.
