About the author
Colin Thiele, AC, was Australia’s most distinguished children’s author of the twentieth century. His books won numerous Australian and international awards and have been made into many classic films, TV series, plays and picture books.
Robert Ingpen, AM, is one of Australia’s greatest illustrators, he won the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 1986 as well as numerous other honours.
