I have to admit I did have a little bit of experience using Blender before diving into Blender 3D Basics. My experience posed no benefit as this book starts from (as the name suggests) the basics. Someone who is completely new to the 3D modelling scene will find the initial chapters very useful as many 3D concepts are introduced and explained. There are plenty of opportunities for practice and the book wholeheartedly encourages it. There are short quizzes at the end of each significant portion to test your knowledge and determine if what has been taught has stuck. I'm half way through the book and I have learnt a great deal already. One of the best introductory blender tutorials I have found to date. 5 out of 5.
