Bill Phillips is president of the International Association of Home Safety andSecurity Professionals, and author of numerous security-related books, includingMcGraw-Hill’s The Complete Book of Locks and Locksmithing, Sixth Edition and Locksmith and Security Professionals' Exam Study Guide. His articles have appeared in Consumers Digest, Crime Beat, Home Mechanix, Keynotes (trade journal of the Associated Locksmiths of America), Locksmith Ledger International, The Los Angeles Times, Safe & Vault Technology, Security Dealer, Special Reports, and other periodicals.
