 Bill George is owner of Nimbus Films, located in Granite Bay, California and Executive Producer of the Hidden Wonder of the World, the Transcontinental  Railroad from Sacramento to Donner Summit. He is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and a judge of the Emmy Awards. He spent 14 years in broadcast journalism, working for television stations in Iowa and California. He covered four national political conventions, major college and professional sporting events and the Loma Prieta Earthquake of 1989. He also worked as manager of global marketing and public relations at Ford Motor Company.

This is his first book.
