I enjoyed reading this sweet, engaging quick-read shifter romance. It has an intriguing plot & delightful perfectly flawed characters. It is about a successful female author (Lisa) with sad memories & writers block who comes into contact with a grumpy male (Lucas) who happens to be the heir to the Lightening Clan & a wolf shifter. There is: wolf shifters, humans, an abandoned baby, confrontations, accusations, a village psychic, drama, unexpected twists, attractions, chemistry, realization, mates, discovery, insecurities, declarations, love, happiness, contentment & a satisfying HEA.

A writer, a wolf shifter and an abandoned baby. This short read is about Lucas and Lisa. I thought this was a great addition to the Shifter Babies of America series and look forward to the remaining books in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
