I'm starting to think that if it can happen, it will happen to or around Fiona. With each new addition to this serial, I tell myself to stop guessing and just enjoy the story, but I can't help it. I bounce back and forth about some characters almost on a page by page basis. There are also some that I remain sure of their motives, but that's iffy too - clear as mud, right? Yeah, that's where I am with these characters. They, along with their crazy, twisted storyline, drive me completely nuts, but at the same time, I'm hooked on this story and it seems like the more I want to shake the daylights out of any or all of Fiona's 'council boys' the more I want of them. This eleventh book in the serial gives us a couple of big things to think about, and the suspense has ramped up a notch or two. Of course, this is a continuing story, so none of the books end - this one just takes that up to big ol' cliffy that may have a few people grumbling about waiting for the next book, me included.

I absolutely love this series, however I don't feel like this book picked up from where book 10 left off. While it was still a good read, things seemed to be reiterated. What I mean by this is things that had already been discussed were talked about again as if they had never been discussed. In contrast, things that had been planned or discussed in the last book that were actually meant to come up again never got mentioned again, instead it was as if they never happened.

I am still waiting for something exciting to happen that makes sense. We pay a lot of money for these books and it feels like we not getting anywhere.
