作者简介

Don Bruns is a singer and songwriter, a painter, a cook, a traveler, and stand-up-comic who has not decided what to do when he grows up. He is also the author of two mystery series. His “stuff series” showcases the unstoppable yet bumbling young private investigators, James Lessor and Skip Moore, and his “music series” features rock and roll writer Mick Sever. Don and his wife, Linda, live in South Florida.

Andrew Child was born in Birmingham, England, in May 1968. He went to school in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, and later attended the University of Sheffield where he studied English literature and drama. After graduation Andrew set up and ran a small independent theater company which showcased a range of original material to local, regional, and national audiences. Following a critically successful but financially challenging appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Andrew moved into the telecommunications industry as a “temporary” solution to a short-term cash crisis. Fifteen years later, after carrying out a variety of roles including several which were covered by the UK’s Official Secrets Act, Andrew became the victim/beneficiary of a widespread redundancy program. Freed once again from the straight jacket of corporate life, he took the opportunity to answer the question, what if?

Rick Bleiweiss started his career in music as a rock performer, produced over fifty records, was a songwriter and record company senior executive, and worked with the Backstreet Boys, Kiss, U2, Whitney Houston, the BeeGees, and other industry legends. Since 2006 as a publishing company executive, he has acquired works by bestselling and award-winning authors including James Clavell, Gabriel García Márquez, Rex Pickett, and Catherine Coulter, among others. In his latest creative endeavor, Rick has crafted the Pignon Scorbion historical mystery series—blending his love of the past with the twisty deliciousness of a whodunit. His clients included drug dealers, smugglers, and murderers and his Carl Boyd series reflects that experience. Bruns lives in Toledo, Ohio, with his wife, LouAnn Frey, and an obnoxious Portuguese water dog named Roscoe. Look for Bruns’s debut novel, Rule Number Four, in summer of 2024.

John Gilstrap is the New York Times bestselling author of more than fourteen novels, including the acclaimed Jonathan Grave thrillers. Against All Enemies won the International Thriller Writers award for best paperback original. His books have been translated into more than 20 languages worldwide. An expert in explosives safety and a former firefighter, he holds a master's degree from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary. He lives in Virginia. Learn more at his website, johngilstrap.com.
