Valri Western
A satisfying end of another series of books in Whitehorse, Montana by BJ Daniels. I was a little surprised by the lack of "tension" and fast-paced suspense in this final book but that just shows you what I usually expect from BJ's books! There's nothing wrong with a romance/mystery that is less fast-paced once in awhile! I liked Boone, the youngest McGraw brother, who went to Butte, Montana to check out a lead on his sister's kidnapping and meets CJ, who is the partner of the private eye (Hank) that Boone was supposed to meet. Boone finds out that Hank has just been killed and neither he nor CJ believe it was an accident. Boone and CJ don't seem to have a lot of sparks through the first part of the story but they eventually come! I enjoyed how he story wrapped up the loose ends and especially, had an epilogue which took place awhile later (in the time line) so we could see how the family and the brothers' lives had progressed. That's my favorite way to end a series!

I loved this series & gave each book a 5 star rating. I love the romance &
especially the story. Each book had romance, intrigue, suspense & mystery.
The writing was excellent. The writer/author gave you just enough adventure
in each book, that you couldn't wait to read the next book. Very well done!
