Once again, B.J. has written a spellbinding story of romance and intrigue in a small Montana town. She is the master of both! I love following the multiple story lines she has going at once, which means we get to know several secondary characters and what is happening with them at the same time as the main story. You feel like you are all over town in different places with these different characters, like puzzles pieces in a big puzzle! It's fascinating! In this story Darby Cahill meets Mariah Ayers at a festival and the feeling is totally electric and unsettling to him, plus she picks his pocket! She disappears and he's obsessed with finding her. Imagine his surprise when she walks into his bar and asks for a job! He shouldn't hire her but he does. Mariah doesn't tell him her background but eventually Darby figures that she is in big trouble - and she is! There is a lot going on in this book so be ready to NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!!!! Darby's siblings get involved along with his father and the sheriff's department! There is a lot of action but then, as I said, there are a lot of characters to deal with! The ending was fantastic so do yourself a favor and open up this book to begin a wonderful adventure! I highly recommend it!
