Hard Rustler: A Montana Western Mystery

My favorite thing about a BJ Daniels' book is how she has several characters being spotlighted during the book and what is happening to them, along with the main characters so there is, in a sense, multiple storylines going on, along with the main storyline! It makes for fantastic reading! I can't put down one of her books once I start it! This book was no exception! I was thrilled to go back to Whitehorse again. Although we meet new characters, there are some returning ones too. I would personally classify this book as more mystery than suspense but I still enjoyed it very much. The two main characters, Annabelle and Dawson, were high school sweethearts but Annabelle was made for bigger things and had to leave this small Montana town for the world of modeling. She's come back to Whitehorse to sell her grandmother's home but doesn't want anyone to know she returns broke and without a job. She finds out some amazing and disturbing things about her grandma that she never expected. THAT'S when the mystery begins! You'll have to read the book to find out what happens! It'll keep you turning the pages quickly, I guarantee it! I received this book from the publisher but was not required to leave a reivew. All opinions are my own.

Thrilling beginning to what promises to be a highly entertaining new series, emotionally engaging and sweetly sexy romantic journey. Annabelle “Annie” Clementine is back home just long enough to sell her inheritance and get back to her real life..... Dawson Rogers is the one she left behind and he is willing to help her get the sale done so she can leave asap.... page turning adventure that keeps you guessing... loved it.
