Acerca do autor

Dr. Amarprakash Dwivedi completed BAMS, M.S.(Shalya Tantra) and PhD from esteemed R.A.Podar Govt. Medical College, Mumbai. Dr. Dwivedi is an Academician and Consulting Ayurveda Surgeon, presently working as Vice Principal, Professor and Head of Surgery Dept. at renowned D Y Patil University, Navi Mumbai. Dr. Dwivedi has authored books on various subjects such as Urology in Ayurveda, Cardiology in Ayurveda, Para surgical procedures in Ayurveda, Obesity in Ayurveda and published more than 100 research papers in National and International Medical journals.  He has received Patent for his innovation – Ksharsutra Carrier cum Application Device by IPI, India. Also, conferred upon many awards - Aryabhat Award (USA), International Excellence Award (Srilanka, Malaysia, UAE, and Thailand), Dhanvantari Award (Rajkot-Gujarat) & Sushrut Puraskar (Pune- Maharashtra) for his research in field of Ayurvedic Surgery. He is also recipient of Governor’s Corona Yoddha Award for his exemplary contribution as health care professional.
