About this ebook

"Diabetes and Alzheimer's Disease: Mechanisms and Management" explores the intricate relationship between diabetes and Alzheimer's disease, exploring how these conditions intersect and influence each other. The book introduces the confluence of both diseases; and their pathophysiological and epidemiological aspects. The book provides deep insights into metabolic interactions and molecular signaling regulating the confluence of these diseases and discusses various factors influencing it. In addition, theranostics and strategies are presented to manage the conditions through drug repositioning and dietary modifications are also discussed in depth. The insights from this book will help readers understand the interconnections and cross talks between metabolic dysfunction like diabetes to neurological disorder like Alzheimer's disease. Written by experts in the field for researchers, academicians, scientists and graduate students in the field of biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences.• Introduces the relationship between diabetes and Alzheimer's disease• Provides a detailed analysis of pathology and theronostics of diabetes and Alzheimer's disease• Presents information on molecular and biochemical factors involved in diabetes and Alzheimer's disease
