This gay short story depicts the fears and joyful emotions of both coming out and young love which many of us will have experienced, or perhaps would have wished to experience. There is a nice twist at the end which though unlikely is not beyond the bounds of possibility. As a non native I did find there was quite a lot of slang with which I was unfamiliar, but otherwise it is a fairly easy read for those for whom German is a second language.
