Wow. This book was okay for the first little bit and then just got weird. I feel like she made Tamani so different than how he is in the previous books. I get that a lot of time has gone by, but he seems less faerie and more human in this, which is way sad. There were lots of things about this book that made it seem like the author was trying too hard. Also, there were more typos in this book than I've ever seen in my life. I kind wish I could unread this book and pretend that it ended with Destined.

Honestly I am feeling happy but tat the same time average about this book! I thought the link and integration of Tamani and Laurel to Rowen was really well done, but none of the book was from Laurels perspective. After the wings series I tbink she needed to be incorporated in a little more than she was. I also think the plot was a bit odd and seemed to not relate to Avalon much at all as they were never really in threat. Some things didn’t really add up yo the last books as well.. I also think it was a bit forced, as 10 years after the takeover a lot of things talked/experienced in the book should have already happened by then. However overall there were still many twists and Laurel and Tamanis outcome was absolutely amazing. Nice to see Chelsea in the book a bit too, while I understand why David was not in the book he was still mentioned frequently which I thought was really well done. Would defitnely be keen for another in the sequel series
