D. SCOTT ROGO (1950-1990) was a parapsychologist, educator, and writer. He graduated from California State University, Northridge, where he also carried out graduate work in the psychology of music and its relation to altered states of consciousness. He was the author of three books on psychic research, including a two-volume study of paranormal music, NAD (University Books, 1969 and 1972), and a book on survival, The Welcoming Silence (University Books, 1973).
