Annegret Held, 1962 im Westerwald geboren, arbeitete u.a. als Polizistin, Sekretärin, Altenpflegerin und Luftsicherheitsassistentin - und ist erfolgreiche Autorin. Sie bekam den Berliner Kunstpreis der Akademie und den Glaser-Förderpreis, ist PEN-Mitglied und lebt im Westerwald und in Frankfurt. Zuletzt erschien im Eichborn Verlag ihre Westerwald-Trilogie APOLLONIA, ARMUT IST EIN BRENNEND HEMD und EINE RÄUBERBALLADE.
