A true opposites-attract romance Charlotte certainly isn't the typical kind of woman that Hollywood heartthrob Declan usually finds attractive, but there's something much deeper in her character that just calls out to him. They're paired up for a charity yacht race, one that Charlotte needs to win to rescue the charity she inadvertently put in jeopardy and Declan needs to win in order to prove to his father he's ready to take over the family film business. I really enjoyed the way these two challenged each other's preconceived notions about their character and ambitions. Their slow-burn romance had to develop a strong and sturdy foundation long before their romance could take root. There was one part where I thought he killed any chance of winning her heart, but then I really loved the way Declan's brother called him out on it and Declan realized what a mess he'd made and set about to fix it. In the end, love conquers all and these two get a very satisfying, if not entirely as planned, HEA. Anne Marsh has long been one of my favorite authors, and this book is a fine example of why I'll never pass up a chance to read her romances. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
