In der Literatur sind verschiedene Ansätze einer theoretischen Konzeption virtueller Unternehmen zu finden, die jedoch nicht hinreichend empirisch verifiziert sind. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, vor allem Licht auf die Taxonomie und Definition der virtuellen Unternehmung / Organisation zu werfen. Viele Abhandlungen postulieren Vertrauen als Voraussetzung für die Existenz virtueller Unternehmen. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit lag darin, der Frage nachzugehen, inwieweit sich Kooperations- / Koordinationsprobleme operationalisieren lassen. Als Instrument erwies sich die Spieltheorie sowie die nahverwandte experimentelle Ökonomik als geeignet, da sich Handlungsweisen exakt beschreiben lassen.
For nearly a decade, virtual organizations have been examining in business science. The literature surveys different and competitive approaches, which have not verified yet. It was the central point to shed light on the taxonomy and definition of virtual organizations. Many abstracts postulate trust as a prerequisite for the essence of this concept. The main focus of this treatise is to question to what extent cooperation- and coordination problems can be operationalized. The examination was conducted by the mean of a game theoretical analysis and findings from experimental economics as well.
