4.5 stars. I have so enjoyed reading this story, it was raw in it's honesty and allowed us to understand Newman as he began to understand himself, something that probably many readers of this series never thought would happen! I really enjoyed seeing him and Amelia get to know each other, seeing how she handled him and seeing how he connected with her brother and supported them both. Having the support he recieved from previous characters in this added to the story, as did the first meeting of Dee and Amber and the men's reactions to the two of them together. This story also had a very swoon worthy moment which showed just how perfect for each other these two were. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

One Taste of Redemption by Amanda Siegrist is a good, and enjoyable small town second chance romantic suspense read. The story has a great entertaining world building engaging story line that is unpredictable, and is an easy to read story. The characters are great, strong, wonderful, witty, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining action packed page turning romance read with a happily ever after ending. Such a good addition to the “One Taste” series. It is a stand alone read and the fifth in the series. The story about Newman and Amelia is nicely developed with suspense, action, danger, steam, drama and good twists. You cannot help falling in love with the characters and their story. He lost everything and Amelia, not one to take "no" for as an answer, will not take it from him either. She knows her brother is missing so she turns to Newman for help. Such a good plot.

I love anything that has to do with romance. As long as there’s a happy ending, I’m a happy camper. I love baseball (Go Twins!) and creating awesome crafts. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, working in that field for several years before I became a stay-at-home mom.
